This panorama takes you to the top floor of the Hakrinbank building in Paramaribo where you can enjoy the view over downtown Paramaribo and the Suriname river all the way to the district of Commewijne on an early morning. From here you can see the Central Market as well as part of the Waterfront (Waterkant). Also visible is Nieuwe Haven (New Harbor), the main port facility in Suriname as far as general cargoes and containers are concerned. Be sure to zoom in on the wreck of the Goslar in the middle of the Suriname river. During World War II the Goslar, a 6000 tonne German cargo ship, was scuttled in the Suriname river in order to prevent it from falling into Allied hands. It has since remained there.

The Hakrinbank building is the second tallest building in Paramaribo after the Wyndham Garden Hotel and is prominently visible against the skyline of Paramaribo.
